Nasa Pinas na nga ako....

Last day...submitted all NS properties..goodbye uniform and slippers...oh..i'll gonna miss our phone too and our passport ID tag...

Arrived in NAIA around 12:40PM last August 11...whew..ang init sa Pilipinas...:>

After picking up our baggages..dropped by the omiyage from Ate Ging to her friend..Atty Domines at the Customs Department..(glad that she already received it as Ate Karen's FB mail)...

As we passed by the Pasay area...traffic jam begins..hayyy..I miss Chino City..alang traffic...then so daming taong naglalakad along the sidewalks...hayyyy..I miss OGINO..kasi alang sidewalks at ala masyadong tao..nasa PINAS na nga ako..

Of course, before reporting to our president on that day,we eat at the bee....san pa nga ba..e di sa JOLLIBEE...haaayyy..nasa pinas na nga talaga ako...its been 81 days na we haven't eat jollibee products..syempre..ala nito sa JAPAN..so..MCDO na lang or KFC...

Syempre, what will i expect when arrive in the office..."hi madam..ang payat mo...really???bola-bola(as our Japanese friends always said..)..o sige na nga..i lose 6 kilos nut not satisfied of it..not on a diet..sabi nga ng boss ko..maybe,you just don't like the food....yeah..something like that!!!specially MISO soup and CURRY..sori guyz...i feel sick when i smell it...(sobrang arte ko..hahahhah)...

When I arrived home..my mom still cooking for dinner..wow..BABOY...yun ang ulam...mukhang masarap...less pork din kami sa japan because japanese people i guess won't eat too much pork..kaya when i tasted the "carne con pina" and "valenciana"..wow...sarappppppppppppp....also invited closest friends for a simple welcome dinner...

After few days...the silence of the Japan environment was slowly vanished...sa Japan tahimik..dito sa amin..maingay ang kapitbahay..hahahha..sa Japan alang tao sa labas ng bahay..dito sa atin..lahat ng tao nasa labas ng bahay..kung di nagtsisismisan..nag-iinuman...hahahah..but i miss this scene...

Nasa pinas ka na, rather Carmona/Cavite when you see sari-sari store...tricycle...talipapa...aso at pusang pagala-gala...SM,Robinson,Pavillon...jeep,manong guard, yung manicurista,parlor...wake up...time to report for work today...tama na ang pa-day-dream!!!

Now..going back to normal life...atupagin ang new work, new responsibilities...but i guess, there's NO PLACE like HOME..kasi my MOM and my staffs and closest friends supported me all the time...

For the past few days,it seems that we are getting tired of mostly "sitting"in our desk...our training task was already done  and we are just waiting for the "home-coming" day to come and it will be on Thursday,August 11-Flight PR 438. Excited to go home too..i miss my MOM...and my staffs..at the mickey mouse in our kusina...

Yesterday, encountered heavy rains here in Nagano which  made us rushing to the dormitory to close the windows... When the bell rangs around 4:35PM (3:35 Philippine Time)...i hurriedly change clothes and slept...nemui...i haven't slept soundly the night before because i'm busy watching the IRON MAN 2 till 12:30AM...while my dormites were already dreaming home..hahahaha.

After 30 minutes of not exactly a sound sleep...our 4 japanese friends came over at the dormitory for the YUKATA pictorial..OHHH..my dream...

Well, sounds good...free pictorial courtesy of Aya's San wardrobe...atleast we have save some YENS..instead shooting and posing at the photo studio, here in the dormitory,it's free...however..when it comes to quality, you'll know the answer.

Tokunaga San fixed my hair the way it was to be and no more additional make up...it was just a plain lipstick and powder...whatever!!! We are 3 trainees to be assisted by them so i don't mind how much time will be alloted for each preparation..i'm thinking that this look will be done immediately...

Voila...when starting to wear the YUKATA...i feel like Nihonjjin too(but for just a couple of minutes)...thus,i feel so uncomfortable because of the humid weather and i keep on perspiring due to the clothing texture of yukata...or i'm just maarte lang siguro..bwhahahhaah!!!

Well...picture..picture...it was fun...i can see the smile of our 4 japanese friendswho made this possible...again,another moments to be thankful with...others may say "YUKATA lang,over-reacting kayo"...but only few have given  a chance to wear this..for FREE..hahahaha..or else...if you have some money to buy for your own, go for it...or go to japan..or buy to divisoria...but for us..freeee...yeah,i might be OVER-REACTING...hahahahah...

Thank you again for sharing your moments with us...to Siketoh,Aika,Ayah and Tokunaga San....we will surely gonna miss you all guyz....mhwaaahhh!!!

And we will never forget to tie a yellow ribbon ,but not on the old oak tree.. hahahahhaah!!!!

Chino Dumban '2011

What an experience last Saturday. We joined the tradional Chino Domban or Chino Festival with NS staffs. It was so amazing..all of the japanese community preserve there cultures and you can see the unity of each company who participated on the said festival. Colorful "yukata",young and old guys and ladies and babies, colorful hapi (as we wore)..carton characters customes, and so many traditional suits ...

At first,we were hesitant to join because we don'thave any idea what to do there...i thought it was just walking around the city for once, but it lasted for 3 hours, walking around and dancing the Domban Song...

We've seen a goup of Filipino community who also actively dancing, might as well those filipino's in other company...but time is so fast,we just extend our hand and say "hi" as we passed each other.

In our front,is the little japanese girl who happened to be the niece  and friend of Nakatsuka San who gracefully leading us...i'm thinking that domban is part of the school activities in japan because they can move perfectly as adult did..hahahahah..

Of course,3 hours walking and dancing is quite tiring but we have a 3 minutes rest for every 3 domban songs...Tokita cacho is the good samaritan for today's event because he's the one pushing our drink cart to quench our thirst.Thank you sir..

I think domban festival is like "karakol" or "merry making" or "traditional parade" like in the Philippines but there is one thing that made it special from what i've mentioned...it's all about Japanese unity...discipline and calmness. Even they're shouting the song with each other..it was just an expression of how they preserve their cultures and how they enjoy celebrating this once a year. Although it is also a "Beer day""walang nag-aamoks"...and along the road there are some mini-stops food carts for those who want to eat...still..they fall in line and willingly waits for others who buys the food...in the philippines"agawan portion pag gutom na"..wala ng pila"...

Dancing with the NS staff is soo cool...almost of them are boys and one old man...hhahahah...but they enthusiasm is very high.."walang halong arte sa katawan"...that made them "kakaiba"...and with cutie faces as well....hmmmm...maybe one of them is not..hahahah..just kidding!

NS girls also participated with their YUKATA...how i wish i could wear one...but except Fumiko San,one of our closest friend here who joined us to wear hapi...they are all lovely..so we are too...:)

Domban was finished around 10:30PM.We almost waited for the fireworks but we are all hungry that time so we rushly go back to the company and prepare for the dinner at YAKINIKO RESTO...of course,we almost have some aches after a long  walk and it is better to lay back on bed,but we will never miss the dinner...hahahhaha..

YAKINIKO...oishi ne...sausage,beef,bacon,prawn,oysters..anything that is something to heat up in the yakiniko grill...dahhh..i love sherbet too...

Few days from now,we will go back to "Pinas"...and sure those faces, bonding moments and eating sessions will always be part of our life..."walang masamang tinapay dito"...i hope they will also appreciate our cultures as we also did...NS friends and mentors..thankyou so much for such a great experience with all of you!!!

81 days in JAPAN

After 9 years..i never expect to comeback here in the "Land of the Rising Sun"...it was an opportunity that should never be missed. Thanks to my Boss and to our President who decided for it...

Before the plan,it was indeed a turmoil.I almost end up losing a bessy boss due to my hard-headed skull and tackless words..it was really a mistake to answer back on him however..it was been repented and forgiven..:)Peace!!!

First night in Japan is somewhat cold..i mean..very cold..i thought it was  winter time just like i've experience few years back...but it was summer now...and i almost bring all my shorts and  never brought any pajamas then there is a good samaritan who gave her pair of pajamas...so cool and kind-hearted..Resie my bessy sis too...

During the first few weeks of training,it was kinda difficult due to cold weather...but we have adjusted quickly. We also felt homesickness for a quite while but it was pleasure to be invited to some dinners, movie marathon, nature trekking and shopping of course, with our Japanese mentors and friends...

We love to eat tuyo and daing (friedfish) during morning as if were still eating in our own house and brought more noodles, cornbeef and sardines to remind our dishes but the real truth is to save...hahhahaa...

Japan cost of living is very expensive if you only converted most of the expenses from YEN to PESOS. From food, clothing, shoes, appliances and other stuff...that's why,we shop til we drop at 100 yen DAISO shop...cool things and very affordable...

Of course, there is no Jollibee here so we end up to McDonalds or KFC?...whew..takai ne...hahahhaah!

We been to different places, shrines, lakes, parks, biking, walking (with the passport ID always...)...most of all to DISNEYLAND!~!!!I never forget this kind of experience..meeting cinderella, pooh, goofy, the avatars..of course..MICKEY!!!!Thank you for having funniest and cutest companions in disney..KENJI and SHIMS...YOSHI,SAKAMOTS and TOKITS

Also in this moment ,I meet my long lost Aunt after 25 years?...Tita Yvette...still sexy and lovely as ever...thanks for the chocolates(I end up having a toothache) and for the bags and stuffs....and to Tita Mae for the yens...:)

Soooooo....time is so fast...few days from now,we will go back to our homeland...although,we were excited to go home... we also miss the people behind this special moments and the 81 days of being with them...

But one thing for sure that i will be missing is the kindness, discipline, respectfullness and the wide smile of the japonnga's here...which made me think that they are one of the coolest person here in earth...hahahaha...

Of course,we will be missing our "Father" here..the funniest of them all...Mr. Red Face... and our Japanese sister here...Fumiko!!!

This stay is one of the best things that happen in my life...

and for future plans?probably studying nihonggo or piano..hhahahaa...because it reminds me of a special someone ...of course, not a prospect companion in life but a the "BIG MAN" behind this project....i want to express my thankfulness through songs...oooh..kinda muzukashi but interesting..:)sayonara!!!

It is hard to find real friends in this world...who can really understand your feelings...who can always be there when you need to...i have lots of friends and few were choosen to be the best...eventhough we have some age gaps...(hahahah)..we have a common goal..YUMAMAN..bwhahahah...but i guess, who ever succeed to have the king's wealth..no matter what..we will remain friends until our last breath...

What I'm thinking today...

As the song says…
Life comes into many shapes
It is how you deal with it
or live with it
Sometime you have to be more sensitive enough
To the feelings of others
They might be joyful today
Or might be felt sad tomorrow
Living in a positive life is not merely easy
But it is better to smile than to frown
I can't promise to become more positive everyday
But I'll try not to catch negative vibes
I always look forward on the brightest side of life
That someday there is something good to happen
That  someday there is someone  right to be with
And I know,it would not be perfect all,but something to live with...
